Back in the day, Idlewild was comprised of a series of cabins on the lake, along with the Idlewild Store.  Today, the "cabins" are now private lake front summer homes.

We have only seen a few Paradox Lake postcards floating around.  This older Dean Color postcard boast of the lakes clear water.

Located on Smith Bay, Idlewild Beach was a great place for swimming and boat rentals for vacationers in the cabins.
